Talk
Angular Vienna Summer Meetup July 3rd

Description
Adrian Romanski
Accessibility Driven Development - Start with A11y, Stay Ahead of Tech Debt
This talk will demonstrate how the lack of an accessibility-first approach leads to technical debt, maintenance challenges, and a worse user experience. Through the story of a developer and a menu component, attendees will see how much work is required when accessibility wasn't considered from the start. The presentation combines storytelling with live coding - refactoring real code to improve its accessibility (A11Y).

The Lazy Way to a Faster App: Optimizing with Lazy Strategies
In this talk, I’ll explore why being lazy can actually make your app faster! I'll explore practical, real-world techniques such as lazy load images, routes, and views, along with the latest techniques like hydration and incremental hydration to defer heavy tasks until they’re truly needed. What makes this talk apart is its hands-on focus. Instead of abstract concepts or slides, you'll see live code examples demonstrating how to implement these strategies and measure their impact on performance, so you can immediately bring them back to your own projects. Join me and learn how to make your app faster and lazier without compromising performance!
